About Jack

1005.jpg

Graduating from the University of Warwick with a master’s degree in Mathematics and Physics in 2014, I joined Centrica on the Maidenhead Road where I started my career in the renewable energy industry. In 2015, I was honoured to be elected to represent central Windsor on the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, where I also served as a Cabinet Member. At this time, amongst other community roles, I chaired the Windsor Town Forum and served as a board member of the Berkshire Local Enterprise Partnership.

My personal politics are grounded in my family background. I have working-class, self-made small businesspeople parents: They weren't party political, but worked night and day to secure the qualifications they needed to start and grow their business in order to ensure me and my brother Gus could have the opportunities they hadn’t enjoyed. From an early age I associated our family’s values of aspiration and quiet patriotism with the Conservative and Unionist Party.

As Windsor's MP, I will be a fully active, involved and local Member of Parliament, visible and available right across the various towns and villages of this constituency, who will fight day and night for your priorities. With your support, that is the kind of MP I will be.

My Experience

Mathematician and physicist by education, professionally I advise international funds on energy infrastructure investments.

Served on the Royal Borough representing Central Windsor (2015-19), including as a Cabinet Member.

Stood against Jeremy Corbyn's Labour twice in the General Elections of 2017 and 2019.

Chaired the Windsor Town Forum and served as the local representative on Berkshire LEP.

Served as Treasurer and Deputy Chairman of Windsor Conservative Association.

My pledges to you

Windsor, Clewer and Dedworth, Datchet, Eton and Eton Wick, Horton, Wraysbury, Old Windsor, Ascot, Sunningdale, Sunninghill, Englefield Green, Virginia Water, Colnbrook, Foxborough and Langley – these will never just be a list of places - they will remain my first priority every day I am fortunate enough to serve you.

I will live in the heart of the constituency, commuting to Parliament on a daily basis as so many residents do everyday. I know how important it is for our MP to live in and understand the needs of our historic towns and villages.

I will run a full-time, fully-staffed constituency office in Central Windsor, holding regular street and drop-in surgeries in every town, village and parish in the constituency so that everyone has access to their local MP.

I will report back on my work in Parliament at every constituency meeting and provide regular campaign updates as your MP. You can also follow me on social media and sign up to my newsletter.
