Bishop's Tachbrook

The biggest challenge when faced with as significant development such as that faced by the village at the moment is ensuring that the character of the area is maintained. When all the houses are built, it is absolutely key that Bishop’s Tachbrook keeps its rural feel and charm. My biggest concern is making sure that across the village’s northern boundary we get Tachbrook Country Park as protection from further encroachment by development from Whitnash and Leamington.

We also need to make sure that we build the infrastructure required with to cope with such a population growth. Key locally is schooling. Warwick District Council have a new secondary school planned to the north of Bishop’s Tachbrook within the new development. My focus is to ensure that that works for the village (and the new residents) whilst protecting the integrity of the Country Park.
