We are all proud of our NHS, did you know that Warwick Hospital was rated as one of the best in the UK?
Our NHS is a cornerstone of the community. We all have in someway been touched by its professionalism, expertise and entirely open accessibility to those most in need of our help. As many others can say, the NHS saved my life.
Having been born extremely premature, I would not be alive today without the NHS staff's round-the-clock intensive care in those early hours and days, much like the care given by the hardworking staff at our local neonatal unit, one of the best in the country.
So, I understand that it is imperative to keep the NHS well-funded, well-staffed, and well provided for. I was delighted to see the adoption of the Conservatives' NHS Long Term Plan and how it is set up to deliver just that. We have pledged to put an extra £33.9 billion a year by 2023 into our NHS, ensuring more doctors, nurses and heath professionals, additional funding for new treatments and technologies and better facilities for services such as mental health provision. I will fight for Leamington's fair share.
Together, we can maintain the excellent service the NHS gives to us, and ensure that this institution continues to provide for future generations of our community and country.
