The doctors and staff at Magnolia House and King’s Corner provide an outstanding service for patients across Ascot, Sunninghill and Sunningdale.
What is not outstanding is the condition of the buildings they are working from.
For far too long, plans for the proposed Ascot Health Hub have moved too slowly. With the current planning permission due to expire this year, it is vital that we see real progress.
I have been working closely with the relevant organisations to keep this project moving forward.
I have received a further private update just this week from the ICB - on behalf of them and RBWM. While some of the details remain commercially sensitive, I am encouraged that things are moving in the right direction and am confident of near-term positive news.
This remains one of my key priorities and I will continue pushing to see the modern healthcare facilities that Ascot, Sunninghill and Sunningdale need.
