Following his visit, Jack said:
"It was fantastic to meet students at Heathermount School last week to answer questions on a range of issues and share some of my experiences as their MP.
It's really important I listen to the views and thoughts of younger people - and particularly good to hear the students were passionate about local issues in their communities .
Thank you to the Head, Mr Stewart for showing me around the excellent SEND facilities.
It is vital that we build further capacity locally and nationally for SEND education so it was good to discuss ways to tackle this with a leader in the field."
