Windsor Post Office

Jack said:

"Many of you have been in touch about the issues at the newly franchised Windsor Post Office. After hearing your concerns, I wrote directly to the new operator, Elliot Jacobs of UOE.

Mr Jacobs has now replied. He confirmed that all former staff chose redundancy or decided not to continue under the new operator - so the branch is now being run by a completely new team.

The new staff are fairly local and have received training, but there have clearly been some early teething problems — including long queues and temporary closures.

When I visited Windsor town centre recently, the branch was closed for extra staff training. While that’s inconvenient, I’m encouraged that my letter - and your feedback - are being taken seriously.

I’ll keep monitoring the situation closely, hold the operators to account, and push for the reliable, accessible Post Office service Windsor deserves."
