I was proud to have sponsored and opened the Georgina Mace Centre for the Living Planet Debate at the Houses of Parliament, bringing together MPs, policymakers and leading scientists to explore how AI and robotics can help tackle biodiversity loss and climate change.
I opened the evening with welcome remarks, speaking to the importance of cross-sector collaboration on environmental challenges, including the brilliant work coming out of Imperial College London’s Silwood Park campus, right here in our constituency.
Conversations like this, grounded in science, but shaped by policy are exactly what we need. It's great to see cross-sector collaboration in action.
