Thank you to Matthew Barber for joining me in visiting Daniel Department Store in Windsor this week. We discussed how Thames Valley Police could better tackle retail crime and Matt gave some encouraging news of a new online information-sharing and reporting platform which helps to improve intelligence on shoplifting which he is rolling-out.

As well as shoplifting, Matt and I had good discussions on increased neighbourhood policing numbers (and their visibility across all our communities), rural crime and supporting the good work of the various Street Pastor teams. I am grateful to Matt for his support and look forward to helping deliver together on our community priorities.
