Sarah and I call Warwick home. We bought our first house together just off the Emscote Road earlier this year, just by the canal.
Warwick’s a wonderful town with an immense amount of history and charm. It also has a great community spirit; people are very proud of being part of the county town and support the independent businesses and town events.
But Warwick also has its challenges, I think specifically of the problems with the road network and parking which have been particularly acute this summer. I’ve been campaigning to pressure Warwick Hospital to increase the amount of parking capacity it has to relieve roads around it and on the Woodloes. I am also campaigning for a Unitary council which will mean that the works in the town hopefully become better staged and managed.
